Suspension recovery for Restaurants
Restaurant GMB profile suspended? Don't worry, we will reinstate it.
When diners search "restaurants near me" and your listing has vanished, the phone stops ringing. We find out exactly why Google suspended your restaurant profile, fix it and manage the reinstatement, so you start getting calls again.
Why restaurants lose their Google Business Profile
Google holds local stores, food and wellness businesses to specific guidelines, and a suspension usually traces back to one of a handful of patterns. For restaurants, these are the triggers we see most often:
How we reinstate your restaurant profile
We start with the Complete Audit: a review of your listing, its edit history, your website and your public citations, so we know which guideline Google believes was breached. Then we correct what Google will check and build the reinstatement request around your restaurant, not a template.
Storefront businesses usually have the strongest evidence: a real location customers visit. Most failed appeals in this group come from mismatched details after a move, rebrand or ownership change.
Evidence we prepare with you
- Business licence or registration
- Lease, deed or utility bill for the premises
- Photos of the storefront, signage and interior
- Proof of ownership or management if the business changed hands
- Website or menu page showing the name and address
If Google requests video verification, we brief you on exactly what to film for a restaurant, so the recording is accepted the first time.

Restaurant profile questions
How long does it take to reinstate a restaurant profile?
Most Business Profile cases are resolved within one to two weeks of submitting a complete reinstatement request. Cases that need listing corrections, extra documents or video verification can take longer, and we keep you updated throughout.
Will my reviews and photos come back?
In most successful cases, yes. Reinstatement restores the original listing, including its existing reviews, photos and history, rather than creating a new one.
Should I create a new listing for my restaurant while it is suspended?
No. A new listing for the same business is treated as a duplicate and can damage the reinstatement case. Leave the suspended listing in place and let us appeal it.
We recently bought the business. What happens to the listing?
Ownership should be transferred on the existing listing rather than creating a new one. If the listing was suspended during the handover, we document the change of ownership and the matching business details in the appeal.
What does it cost?
Every case starts with the $199 Complete Audit, which is credited toward the Business Profile package from $798. The audit is non-refundable; if the listing is not reinstated, the package balance you paid is refunded in full.
