The Policy Pages Every Store Needs Before Merchant Center Will Trust It

Thin or copied policy pages are one of the quickest ways to fail a Merchant Center review. Each page should answer the questions a cautious first-time buyer would ask.

Returns and refunds

State the return window, condition requirements, who pays return shipping, and how long refunds take. Vague statements like "contact us for returns" read as a red flag.

Shipping

List the regions you ship to, processing time, delivery time and cost. Make sure these match the shipping settings in Merchant Center.

Contact and identity

Show at least two ways to reach you, and name the business behind the store. Free email addresses and missing phone numbers weaken trust.

Avoid templates

Policy text copied from another store, or left with placeholder brand names, suggests the store is not genuinely operated. Write policies that reflect how you actually work.
